Limelight Networks' Content Delivery Technology Adopted for PLAYSTATION(R)3 And PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) System Software Updates

TEMPE, Ariz., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Limelight Networks (Nasdaq: LLNW), a leading content delivery network (CDN) for digital media, announced today that its CDN technology has been adopted by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) to deliver system software updates to PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3(TM)) and PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) users. With Limelight's CDN technology, SCE is able to ensure fast and stable delivery of its latest system software to PS3 and PSP users, with updates ranging in size up to 150 MB, direct to the entertainment systems.
