Associated receives John B. and Meredith B. Rose Business Award for Community Involvement and Leadership

GREEN BAY, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Associated Bank has been awarded the John M. and Meredith B. Rose Business Award for Community Involvement and Leadership. Leadership Green Bay presented Associated Bank with the award at the All-Class Reunion on Thursday, Feb. 11 in Green Bay. Leadership Green Bay is a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

The John M. and Meredith B. Rose Business Award for Community Involvement and Leadership is named after John Rose, the former President of Kellogg Bank, which eventually became Associated Banc-Corp when the holding company was officially formed in 1970. The award is a tribute to John and Meredith Rose, notably for their limitless desire to give back to the Green Bay community. As a passionate, influential community leader and longtime executive of Associated Bank, John, or "Jake" as his friends called him, is known for successfully guiding the local financial and business communities through the turbulent early years of the Great Depression.
